Tom Leatham BSc (Hons) Dental Technology
I have always had a passion for both art and science, which has led me to the exciting world of Dental Technology.
I enrolled onto the BSc (Hons) Dental Technology course at Manchester Metropolitan University and after graduating in 2015, I was fortunate to gain employment at Dental Excellence.
Since then I have been enjoying the very rich learning environment under Tony’s guidance. It is a journey that inspires me to always improve and diversify. I particularly love ceramic and implant work and I am currently enthralled with our move into the age of CADCAM technology.
When I’m not helping people to smile again, my other interests include hiking, skiing, kite surfing and architecture to name a few.
Geoffrey Glees BA (Hons) RDT
(GDC No. 249377)
I am from an arts background and have an honours degree in Fine Art. I spent several years fabricating sculptural work for artists such as Damien Hirst. In time, however I wanted to be able to use my skills to help others directly.
After meeting Tony I was inspired to pursue dental technology and began training with him.
I have a passion for perfecting my mastery of dental anatomy and function, and I find the relationship between these fascinating.
I am inspired by the vast potential of digital dentistry – particularly when harnessed in conjunction with the wide library of knowledge and skills that Tony has developed over his career. It is my goal to work at the forefront of quality digital dentistry – the possibilities for beautiful, groundbreaking treatments for patients are incredible.

I feel extremely privileged to be working at Dental Excellence and being mentored by Anthony towards becoming a technician of perfection!
It really is quite inspiring to see patients smiling with confidence after completion of their treatment. It reinforces my belief that i’ve made the right career choice.
I’m a proud mother of a lively three year old who keeps me on my toes and i enjoy the challenge of combining motherhood with a brilliant career.
